FAQ

Questions, answered

How accurate is the monetization status?

Status is based on available public signals. A result of “Unknown” means there isn't enough public information to confirm either way — not that the channel is definitely unmonetized.

Where do the revenue estimates come from?

They are modeled from public view counts and assumed RPM ranges. They are estimates, not official YouTube earnings, and actual revenue depends on niche, geography, ad formats, seasonality, and many other factors.

Do I need to log in or install anything?

No. TubeCheck runs as a small local website. Paste a channel, press “Check channel,” and the report appears. Results are cached for five minutes so repeat checks are instant.

Why does a channel show as “Unknown”?

Some channels are new, private, region-restricted, or simply have limited public signals. When there isn't enough public information to confirm monetization either way, we show “Unknown” instead of guessing.

Is TubeCheck affiliated with YouTube?

No. TubeCheck is an independent tool and is not endorsed by or affiliated with YouTube or Google. Channel names and images belong to their respective owners.
